Class #1:

Ouch, Ouch, Ouch!  Hot, Hot, Hot!  I figured there'd be some heat involved, but I didn't realize just how much.  Getting the glass on the stick was not as much a problem as having to form it with the calipers.  When your hand is only three inches from melting glass, you know it.  I made a snow woman.  She's French, and her name is Juliate.  She originally had three balls.  However, in an unfortunate whacking incident, she lost one, and now only has two balls.  Oh well.

 Class #2:

After a half an hour of work, my first glass was shattered when I tried to transfer it from the pipe to the rod.  This is my second attempt.  See that crack?  It wasn't there at first.  I put the glass on the table, and I hear Tink.  Ellen says, "Did you hear that?  Sounds like your glass cracked."

Class #3:

Well, here it is.  Not bad for my first glasses capable of holding liquid.
